REVIEW OF “ONE MORE NIGHT”
**** (4 stars) A good continuation to the first book, but still left unanswered questions.

Angela’s one night turned into not just one more night, but many more nights with the unexpected re-appearance of Logan Black, aka, the sexy Mr. Bartender. A.M. Willard did a spectacular job with further development of her characters.

I absolutely loved getting to see more of Tabitha’s no-nonsense attitude! She was understanding and supportive of Angela, but had no issues telling Angela (or threatening to tell others) exactly what she thought and how it is. Christopher is now one of my top characters that I love to hate. Asshole doesn’t even begin to describe him. Ms. Willard had me wanting to strangle him, and worse, for his attitude, behavior, and treatment of Angela.

While my questions from “One Night” wondering what exactly was going on with Christopher and if Angela’s one night would remain just that, Ms. Willard has left me on tenterhooks wondering how Angela’s story will end. Will Christopher get what he deserves? Will Angela and Logan’s relationship blossom and develop into “Forever Nights”?

Even though this is a good story, a part of me can’t help but feel that the entire story could have been told in one book, rather than split into three novellas. It was a bit bothersome to wait for the second installment, but I am quite frustrated with having to wait for the third installment. For those who don’t like cliffhangers or waiting to have questions answered, I would suggest waiting until you can get all three books so you don’t have to wait between reading each part.

AUTHOR INTERVIEW
Today, I had the opportunity to interview A.M. Willard, author of “One Night” and “One More Night”.

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I guess I have to get use to talking about myself. I’ve been married to my high school sweet heart now for 17 years and we have a son who’s almost 13 and was diagnosed last year late in life with Autism/ Asperger’s. I work fulltime, I write as much as I can daily. I dream of the day that I can write fulltime, I love being an indie author and never thought I’d click publish.

What is your favorite motivational phrase, and why?

“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of things shall be well.” By Julian of Norwich. My grandmother used this phrase every day and it stuck.

What do you like to do when you are not writing?
Read, go sailing with my husband and son, fishing or just hanging out with friends.

What books and/or authors have influenced you the most?

I love the classics and that’s what started me reading at a young age but now, I read so many different books that every one of the inspire me. Especially when I get a good tear jerker, when I finish I just shake my head and say wow I want to write like that. So here are a few Jane Austen, Edgar Allen Poe, Belle Aurora, Sylvain Reynard, Lisa De Jong, Abbi Glines.

Are there any new authors who have caught your attention?

Yes, I have several that I have read and love their work; S.K. Knight, Victoria L Brock, A.m. Guilliams and M.E. Fields (M.E. Fields will release her first later this year but I’ve been a part of the process with her and can’t wait).

Who is your favorite character from your book “One More Night” and why?

Even though I love Logan Black and Angela I have to say that Tabitha is my favorite. I love her style and that smart mouth of hers. She developed into a character that I didn’t see her as from the start.

Are any of the characters and/or experiences in your books based upon yourself or someone you know?

Oh well, let’s see. Hum. I would say Tabitha’s sense of humor is very much like myself. I have no filter. Then of course I think we all know a few douches bags like Christopher.

Can you share with us about what you are working on now or your next project?

Well I just finished Forever Night the last installment of the One Night Series and I’m going to start back on my novel that I was working on before the One Night Series. The title is Will I Ever Love Again, I’m hoping to release this in September 2014. Guess I better get busy.

Do you have any advice for aspiring authors?

Follow your dreams, if you have a story write it. Deciding to publish the One Night Series was the best thing I’ve ever done, I had no idea what would happen. I love talking with my fans and it makes it worth the work. Keep your head up and never give up.

How can we contact you and find out more about you and your books?

You can find me most on Facebook, I’m still trying to figure out the world of twitter. Here are my links and you can also sign up to receive my newsletter from my blog site as well.
